Our farm began with only two sheep and has now grown to be the home to almost 70. We allow our sheep to freely roam the property, and give them lots of love and attention.

Our sheep are rotationally grazed, which ensures they always have fresh grass to eat, and helps to regenerate the land by giving plants time to regrow. During the winter months our sheep are fed plenty of fresh hay. We do not give added hormones or routine antibiotics to our animals.

We pride ourselves in raising healthy animals that are able to freely enjoy the farm. We do our best to keep our animals happy, and comfortable as they live their whole lives on our farm.

 At Wootton Farms, our pigs enjoy laying out in the sun and spending as much time outside as possible. Our pigs currently live in a fenced off area on the farm, although we plan to change them to a rotational grazing plan, just like our sheep.

Our pigs love to eat, and we make sure they get all the nutrients and energy they need through a large variety of assorted food. This includes produce, grain products as well as some store bought pellets.

The diet of our pigs is made possible through the Loop Resource Program. This program enables food producers and grocers to divert one hundred percent of their unsaleable food from local landfills, to others in the community who can use it best.
